Your Tasks

As Product Architect your primary responsibility is to maintain the overall architecture of our SaaS cloud service. You will be at the forefront of our technical development efforts, ensuring the security, reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform. 

Key activities:

  • Architectural Maintenance: Maintain and evolve the architectural vision and roadmap for our SaaS cloud service, focusing on security, reliability, performance and scalability as top priorities.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and oversight for the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and a strong emphasis on security measures.
  • Security First: Champion security as the foremost priority, working closely with security teams to ensure the highest level of data protection and compliance with industry standards.
  • Reliability: Establish and uphold system reliability by identifying potential points of failure, implementing redundancy strategies, and ensuring fault tolerance.
  • Performance and Scalability: Continuously assess and enhance system performance, optimizing resource utilization, and devising strategies to accommodate scalability requirements.
  • Java Proficiency: Serve as a hands-on engineer with a deep understanding of Java development, contributing to code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring other engineers.
  • Cloud Storage and Databases: Utilize knowledge of cloud storage solutions, and expertise in relational databases to maintain data integrity and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and DevOps, to align technical decisions with business goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture decisions, architecture diagrams, system designs, and API documentation and foster participation across teams.

Who are we looking for?

As a Product Architect you have

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • proven experience as a Product Architect or similar role in a SaaS or cloud-focused environment.
  • exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • solid understanding of software design principles, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  • extensive expertise in Java development, including hands-on coding and debugging skills.
  • strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker, with a proven track record of implementing and managing containerized applications.
  • knowledge of cloud storage solutions and proficiency in relational databases.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
