Your Tasks

As part of our core product team, you propose innovative solutions to technical challenges and help develop idgard further while keeping security in focus. You are an integral part of our agile culture.

Key activities

Play a major role in helping us to continue converting the backend of our main product idgard into a modern application.
Drive the technological improvement and be involved in developing a deep technical understanding in the team.

Who are we looking for?

As a senior backend engineer, you

have solid experience with the JVM Ecosystem and Java, as well as following frameworks
- Guice or other dependency injection framework
- JPA
have experience designing REST APIs
are comfortable using SQL
drive code quality and automatic testing
drive collaboration and move on together with the team following our agile process
have good analytical and communication skills in English (German is a plus)
Ideally, you also have some knowledge in the following domains:
- Flyway, Database management
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Gitlab Pipelines, CI
- Authentication, OAuth, JWT
